Médecins du Monde is committed to prevent and handle any of the following behaviours:

  • Exploitation, abuse and sexual harassment (SEAH);
  • Harassment;
  • Abuse of power;
  • Discriminations, violence and behaviours in conflict with our ethical principles;
  • Fraud and corruption.

It is unacceptable that people supported by our programmes, members of our teams, partners or any other person connected to our organisation has to endure such doings.

We are committed to promoting a safe, respectful and protective environment for everyone, and guaranteeing that everyone can safely and confidentially report any concerning situation.

Our commitments

Médecins du Monde commits to:

  • handling reports with seriousness, impartiality and confidentiality;
  • protecting the individuals doing the report in good faith against any form of retaliation;
  • offering tailored support to the relevant people when it is needed;
  • Implementing prevention and protection measures, and if required, suitable sanctions.

 

Children and vulnerable adults benefit from additional protection in all our activities.
