Recrutement  Emergency Desk - A LOGISTICAL “MOBILE” (“VOLTIGEUR”)

Mission :

As a member of the Emergency Desk and under the supervision of the Adjunct to the Director of International Operations – Responsible for the Emergency Desk, he/she will be in charge of:

Abroad:

Operational participation in emergency field missions

- Carry out exploratory missions

- Participate in the planning of projects with regard to the logistical and security aspects (writing, implementation, follow-up, evaluation)

- Define and supervise the application of security regulations

- Responsible for the implementation of projects with regard to the administrative and logistical aspects (staff, financial administration, supplies, transportation, traffic management, telecom, sanitation, cold chain, etc.)

- Supervise and lead the logistics teams (expatriates and nationals)

- Participate in the drafting of proposals and reports (logistical and security aspects)

- Negotiate with the local partners (in their fields of competence)

In France :

- Reflection on and formalization of field tools for the missions

- Participation in the training plan for participants in the service of the missions

- Participation in the drafting of operation reports (logistical and security aspects)

- Operational monitoring at a distance from the missions (logistical and security aspects)

- Technical support to the Desks for the organization of emergency projects

Profile:

Significant experience as a Logistics Coordinator in an NGO in emergency situations:

- crisis situations (ex: refugee camps, epidemics, armed conflicts, etc.)

- technical supervision of activities

- project management

- team management

- security management

French fluent / English high level / Spanish appreciated

Excellent command of computers (Word and Excel)

Excellent command of telecommunication tools

High mobility (80% of time in the field / wide availability)

Physical and psychological resistance

Ability to work in a team/ management / high adaptability
