Subject: liberation of the two expatriates in Gaza

Médecins du Monde welcomes the liberation of its two expatriates, kidnapped on Tuesday morning in the Gaza Strip. They were released around 21.00 pm and are now in security.

The organization expresses its solidarity towards the other people still retained in Gaza and calls for their liberation as soon as possible.

Médecins du Monde remains preoccupied by the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Palestinian Territories. Nevertheless, due to the worsening of the security conditions, the organization will temporarily suspend its activities, and hopes to resume them as soon as possible.
