February 13, 2008 - Médecins du Monde has launched this week an emergency mission in the Rift Valley to ensure the provision of healthcare for the displaced population who remains out of reach for the humanitarian aid until now.

21 February 2008 - Following eight months of training health staff in Bani Kayes district, on 18 February Médecins du Monde began distributing medical supplies to seven healthcare units in the district. Tuesday 11 April 2006 - Pakistan: MdM expresses concerns about the earthquake victims returning home
In Pakistan, six months after the earthquake, the disaster-stricken villages have not yet been rebuilt. Yet the displaced people have been forced to leave the camps to return to their land of origin. Médecins du Monde is expressing its concern about this return into the affected zones where neither the minimum basic vital services nor access to healthcare are guaranteed today.

The Sudanese region of Darfur continues to suffer from insecurity and instability. Médecins du Monde has embarked on a new project; rolling out mobile clinics which will allow it to offer access to healthcare for those living in Thur, Nyama and Tarontawara in the Jebel Mara region.
