In order to understand the sociocultural contexts and adapt our health care offer in the best way, the SCD working group suggests a variety of ways of providing support  to workers in the field.

There are reports about research led by the team on some of the cross-cutting themes of the organisation (gender related violence, mother and child health, health and environment, harm reduction, HIV …).

The group's anthropologist responds to the needs of teams at HQ and in the field at different stages in the life of a programme to, for example, establish a sociocultural diagnostic, support the team in setting up a qualitative research, assess one of the programme's activities etc...
